I haven't used the 5D enough to profile its battery life, but in my experience with the 6D, GPS causes maybe 15% battery drain per day. And with the 5D Mark IV, it should use much less, assuming you take advantage of the new "mode 2" behavior that turns GPS completely off when you switch off the camera. I don't own a 6D II. I know the original 6D did not have a mode to disable the GPS on poweroff (you had to go into the menu and manually turn off the GPS or it would continue to drain power even after you flip off the power switch).
